Good morning,
 We at Portales Municipal Schools would like to remind everyone that Portales Schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, November 4th 2025, for General Election Day. This is put in place by law, House Bill 74 Section G: Every general election and regular local election shall be a school holiday for students and staff at each public school in this state.
 We will have school this Friday, November 7th 2025, to make up that day. We hope everyone who is of age to vote will exercise their right to vote.
